Holymoorside Dam

Holymoorside Dam is situated in Holymoorside
village to the West of Chesterfield. (Map)The
venue is approximatly 1.7 Acres in size with an average depth of about
two and a half feet.The venue contains carp to around 18lb, Tench to
6lb, Chub to 2lb, Bream to 6lb and Roach and Perch. In early spring
tench can be caught on pellet with chopped worm and caster also catching
well all year round. The best nets of fish can be caught fishing under
near bank trees or close to the island. |
